ABOUT BAGLIORI
A few years ago, I found myself at a crossroads. I urgently needed to make a change in my life to achieve my ambitions, but I had yet to discover what I really wanted from life.
During that time, I felt torn between different sets of values and ways of living. I ended up following my inner voice and traveling to Europe to study art. During that journey I discovered that I had a great passion for jewellery design, an artistic medium that embodies my spirit and faith.
In particular, Italy provided me with a wealth of inspiration. Its bold, loud, expressive, and elegant culture deeply shaped my artistic vision. It was from this encounter that my brand Bagliori was born. Taking its name from the Italian word meaning ‘light of my life’, Bagliori is characterized by the inheritance of features from my beloved antique jewellery. The allure of a bygone era shows through in the brand’s attention to detail. Embracing heritage techniques for setting and mounting jewellery that are more complex and delicate than modern methods, my aim with Bagliori is to wed the best elements of tradition with contemporary design so as to provide a fresh take on the re-fined elegance of the past.
The brand’s totem is the image of ouroboros, one of my favourite symbols embodying eternity in its cycle of death and rebirth. I see the ouroboros as a perfect reflection not only of the timeless-ness of jewellery, but of my own journey of discovery and rebirth as an artist.
I would like to pay special thanks to my family, friend, and teachers, who have steadfastly sup-ported me throughout my journey of self-discovery and growth.
